Even after ten years of marriage, it sounds as though future king Prince William is doing the most to keep the romance well and truly alive in his relationship – as it's said he does the sweetest thing for his wife, Kate Middleton, after she's had a long day.
According to a report from PEOPLE, an anonymous source who claims to know the Cambridges revealed that after a stressful day (Kate does have three children to care for alongside her many royal duties, after all!), William knows just the thing to help the Duchess relax in the evening.
"William will bring Kate a gin-and-tonic," the mysterious family friend said. "They look after each other, but in different ways." We highly commend this gesture tbh.
Elsewhere in royal news: the Cambridges recently shared a new photo of the five of them together for their annual Christmas card snap, featuring Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, all cheerily looking towards the camera whilst on a secret trip to Jordan earlier this year.
Tatler writes that the family are pictured in the city of Petra during their very hush-hush holiday, which was only revealed when the Duke and Duchess posted the picture to their Instagram account.
Perhaps also to show how united they are as a family, the Cambridges appeared to opt for a colour coordinated wardrobe in the image. The two youngest children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, looked adorable in twinning shades of blue, while their parents and older brother Prince George matched in khaki green – which also ties in with their outfit choice from last year's Christmas photo.
Everyone's clicking on...
It could also be symbolic that Prince George wears green like his father Prince William, given that they are both heirs to the throne. Likewise, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis' matching blue get-ups is a symbol of their close bond, which we saw a few years back when the family released an especially cute photo of the pair to celebrate the Princess' third birthday.
Now we just need to know which brand of gin the Duchess goes for, so that we can stock up ourselves (or put in a polite request to Santa...).
