Former Love Islanders Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are said to be "extremely shaken up" after their Manchester home was reportedly burgled on Thursday 21 October. The alleged incident happened while the pair were celebrating at a beauty launch party for Molly-Mae in London.

Speaking to the MailOnline, a source close to the couple said: "It seems to be an experienced gang who know what they’re doing as they have had machinery and waited for Molly and Tommy to be away."

The insider continued, "They have stolen approximately £800k worth of belongings leaving them with nothing left other than what they had on them in their suitcases in London on the night of the event."

According to the source, the couple now have no plans to return to the property they shared following the break-in. "They will never return back to their apartment again unfortunately," the insider added, "they feel they have been targeted and don't feel safe there any more. They really loved living there, it's a shame they have been forced out of their home."

Commenting on the incident, a representative for Greater Manchester Police confirmed they had "received a report of a burglary." The spokesperson continued, "During the burglary a number of items were taken, including jewellery. Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made."

Since moving into the apartment, the reality stars kept the location of their home secret to avoid unwanted public attention. Although Molly-Mae has shared videos from inside their flat on her social media accounts, including in her YouTube videos.

Molly-Mae and Tommy are yet to release a statement about the alleged burglary, although the 22-year-old influencer shared a post to her Instagram yesterday captioned: "Smile through the storm."
