If you've felt like your life has been strangely more peaceful over the past three months, I'm not pointing fingers but all I will say is that your timeline totally coincides with Donald J Trump no longer being President of the United States. 🤷♀️
If you cast your mind back to January 2021, you'll remember that Trump practically left the White House kicking and screaming, after he refused to accept that President Joe Biden had beaten him fairly and squarely in the election. Trump made so many unverified claims of voting fraud, in fact, the notorious tweeter went on to become permanently banned from both Twitter and Facebook.
Donald Trump fans claimed it violated the outgoing President's right to free speech, but Twitter insisted the move was necessary. "After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence," they said in a blog post.
Since then, all has been pretty quiet on the Trump front. But it seems the former President did not intend to stay silent forever, as he's now launched his own platform for communications...
A new website will serve as a home for press releases on all things Trump, but it also has a function - 'From the desk of Donald J. Trump' - that looks suspiciously similar to a well known social media site facilitating the sharing of bitesize thoughts and opinions from users...
Formatted in a chronological timeline, Trump's new website displays brief posts from the former politician, such as: "The Fraudulent Presidential Election of 2020 will be, from this day forth, known as THE BIG LIE!"

Ahh, it's like being in a time warp. Just, minus a few million retweets.
Users of Donald Trump's new website can share his posts on their own social media accounts, which we imagine is an attempt to subtly worm his way back in and get his voice heard by the masses once more. They are also invited to "contribute" to his mission to "save America."
Oooookaaaaaaay then. You have fun with that.
