It must have been a tough transition for Meghan Markle to move all the way from America to England to live with Prince Harry/become a royal. But one of the advantages of such a move is that you basically never have to run into your exes again — they're literally halfway across the world! Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Harry and his exes, who run in some of the same social circles as the royal.

While it seems like Harry has a cordial relationship with his past girlfriends (both Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy were invited to his wedding), it's probably still not the most ideal scenario for him to bump into them in public — pictures are taken, speculation starts, etc. In fact, last week royal expert Katie Nicholl told Cosmopolitan.com that Harry has "very little to do" with his exes now.

Which is probably why the organisers of a film screening had a bit of a panic earlier this week when they realised that attendee Prince Harry was set to sit next to Camilla Thurlow, who Harry dated five years ago, long before his relationship with Meghan. (And yes, I'm talking about Camilla from Love Island.)

According to The Sun, the seating plan was "quickly rearranged," and Prince Charles was put in Camilla's seat at the Thursday-night screening. A source told the site, "it would have been extremely embarrassing for them to bring Harry along and sit him right next to his ex. His advisers would have been furious if they'd put him in that position."

Prince Harry's rumoured ex-fling Ellie Goulding was also at the event, but she reportedly left before there was any chance of a run-in with him.

So...sounds like Harry had an eventful Thursday night!
