From the limited edition pink cans to the Christmas tree baubles and fancy flavours, it's safe to say if something is linked to Diet Coke, we're interested. Seriously, we're obsessed.
Which is why we were so interested to hear about their new flavour, released today [19 February]. Please welcome to the stage: Diet Coke Sublime Lime, which the brand promise will bring "the zesty citrus flavour to the Diet Coke family." Sounds zingy!
Speaking of the new launch, Amber Topalcik, Senior Brand Manager for Diet Coke Great Britain, said: "We know how much Diet Coke fans love new flavours and we’re really excited to launch Diet Coke Sublime Lime. For those looking for something new and full of flavour, it perfectly pairs the refreshing taste of Diet Coke with an amazing zesty twist!"
The reaction on social media has been overwhelmingly good, with one person writing, "I normally hate Diet Coke but the Sublime Lime Diet Coke is good," and another adding, "I must say that this Sublime Lime flavour Diet Coke is f***ing exquisite."
A third said, "Sublime Lime Diet Coke is.... well.... sublime," and another added, "Diet Coke: Sublime Lime. Everything I've ever wanted."
The new flavour comes as Diet Coke announced the existing Exotic Mango and Twisted Strawberry flavours, which launched in March 2018 and April 2019 respectively.
Everyone's clicking on...
Judging by the reviews, we need to get on the Sublime Lime hype asap.
