It's true that Maltesers can do no wrong in our eyes. We're obsessed with Malteaster bunnies and love their new truffles, which is probably why we're equally enamoured with the thought of this Maltesers Smash cake. Sign. Us. Up.
The cake is made up of a malted sponge base, covered in sprinkles, and a chocolate dome. Inside the chocolate dome, find hidden a pile of Maltesers, and a layer of chocolate buttercream. YUM.
The smash cake will be available in Asda stores as well as online from Monday January 28, and will set you back £14. Sounds like a lot for a shop-bought cake, but probs worth it for the Maltesers fan in your lives.
As expected, the cake has been going down very well on social media. "Smash something up, find Maltesers, eat some cake... whats not to love?! 🍫" one person wrote, while another added, "Is there anything more satisfying than smashing open a cake filled to the brim with chocolate?!"
A third commented, "This new Maltesers Smash Cake is a work of art."
We're interested.
