Spring may not have arrived quite yet but if you've got your finger on the fashion pulse then you already know the trends set to be big news once next season finally does roll around (hurry up, pls!). The runways may have made their predictions way back in September of last year, but we prefer to turn to the street style set for the looks they're implementing now ahead of the curve. For the most stylish of show-goers who've spent the past few days attending Copenhagen Fashion Week, that has consisted of polka dots, pale pink and brown.
So, imagine our delight when we came across a high street design available to buy right now that ticks off all three boxes. Next's chocolate brown/pink polka dot ruched mesh long sleeve top features not only this season's most popular colours, but the print we're seeing everywhere right now too.
With its slash neckline and super flattering ruched side detailing, consider this the ultimate ‘jeans and a nice top’ top. Dress it down with light wash denim, perhaps in a barrel leg silhouette, and ballet flats for casual weekends close to home. Then, come more formal occasions be it date night or drinks out with friends, a pair of dark wash wide leg jeans and a kitten heel instantly elevate your entire ensemble.
If the sheer mesh is a little too revealing for you, simply layer a camisole top underneath!
FYI, this design also comes in a more classic monochrome colour way if you prefer a more minimal black and white polka dot print.
As well as an inverse colourway, should you want something a bit lighter and brighter.
Or, check out the brown and blue colourway. This favourite colour combo started to gain traction in 2025, and cobalt blue is emerging as another SS26 go-to hue that could well rival brown and pink alike.
What about one in every colour?!
