The upside-down bikini trend has been kicking around for a while and I, for one, still don't understand it. Back in 2020, Kendall Jenner shared a pic of her reclining on a beach chair wearing her bikini in an unusual fashion. Since then, Hailey Bieber and a handful of the Kardashians have tried their hand at the inverted trend. Now, Kylie Jenner's just gone and shared fresh 'kini pics and, yep, it looks like we'll be seeing this vibe into spring/summer 2023.
For her latest post, Kylie shared new poolside swimwear pics with her 379 million followers. In the snaps, she's repping a metallic pink two-piece bikini with a criss-cross strap extending up into a halterneck, teamed with matching tie-up briefs. When you look a little closer at the top, you can see that the ruching, which usually sits at the base of the triangular panels, is actually located in the centre, creating a keyhole-shaped cutout.
Ky captioned the 'gram, "happyyyy place 🌸" and fans are obsessed. Sister Khloé Kardashian wrote "Literally an angel" and others added, "Dream Girl 💗😍", "Metallic mami. 😍" and "Scorchin’ 👄❤️🔥".
While Kylie clearly looks incredible, the question is, are you tempted to try the upside-down bikini trend this season?
If you're still on the fence, here are all the other times we've spied the look on stylish celebrities. Hailey went for a minimalist tangerine-toned set:
While Kendall was all about the vibrant paisley print design:
Everyone's clicking on...
Last but not least, is Kourtney and her scarlet red duo:
