IDK about you but the exposed thong trend has pretty much taken over every single one of my social media feeds. All the girlies from Dua Lipa to Hailey Bieber and even supermodel Bella Hadid (that's when you know it's fashun, darlin') have been rocking the circa 2001 'whale tail' and TBH, I'm not that mad about it.
And who may be the latest celebrity to resurrect the trend? Well, it's someone who has a major presence and influence and can certainly turn heads when it comes to controversial fashion *cough* that lion look *cough*. Aka, it's none other than Miss Kylie Jenner.
Stormi and Aire's mum – who also happens to be a major fashion and beauty mogul – not only shared snaps of the look on her Instagram feed but also took to her Stories with a 360 (ish) mirror selfie video. Take a look at the screenshots below:
Fierce, right?!
Not only is she rocking the high-leg exposed thong but she's paired it with a matching itsy bitsy paisley print mini skirt and neon fluffy heel. Personally, I just know that this would make Lizzie McGuire proud.
However, what brings the Y2K style back into the 21st century is the very current, very modern sheer see-through crop top. Let us not forget that Ky's older sister, Kim wore the shortest we'd ever seen not too long ago.
Everyone's clicking on...
As yet another of our fave early 00s icons said: mix it all together and you know that it's the best of both worlds.
