Kim Kardashian has defined an instantly recognisable aesthetic over the years: neutral tones, futuristic shapewear (preferably SKIMS) and tonnes of Balenciaga. The businesswoman and The Kardashians star now seems like she is ready for her new style era.

Kickstarted by her appearance at the Met Gala this year in a dress which once belonged to the one and only Marilyn Monroe, she's started wearing looks that gravitate more towards a vintage glamour, bombshell vibe. It all seemed to shift with her appearance at Kourtney Kardashian's Italian wedding where she sported a number of vintage Dolce & Gabbana 'fits. And now, many months later, the reality star has unveiled a new collaboration with the Italian house.

At Milan Fashion Week this year, the D&G catwalk show was co-curated by Kim, offering a retrospective of the brand. The lead-up to the runway show saw Kim star in a seriously glam mini campaign on social media, appearing in black and white videos where she cosplayed as a vintage diva eating ice cream surrounded by paparazzi and hiding in a limo eating pizza.

The show itself featured a series of looks based off of reinterpretations of archival pieces from the brand's 1987 to 2007 archive including slinky minidresses, chokers and wrap dresses, embodying the vintage glam look that Kim has recently been showing off.

Our favourite moment was when Kim graced the catwalk at the end of the show, wearing a stunning, floor-grazing slinky black gown absolutely covered in crystals. To top off the look, she wore her hair in a Pamela Anderson-style updo and sported massive cross earrings and a matching pendant.

We're loving this new look on Kim - we can't help but wonder what comes next for her? More D&G glam? Or a return to Balenciaga futurism?
