Last night Billie Eilish wowed fans, and us tbh, with her very glam Met Gala look. Her Oscar de la Renta gown and blonde pinup hair gave us all the princess-meets-Marilyn-Monroe vibes, and it's safe to say we'll be overhauling our own wardrobe to make sure we're channelling the same from now on.

Speaking to E! News about her look on the red carpet, Billie said: "This is the first thing I've ever done in this realm before. I'm shivering and shaking."

She teamed the off-the-shoulder, peach tulle dress with 30 pieces of Cartier jewellery (as you do). But as gorge as she looked, Billie's outfit had a much deeper meaning to it. According to PopSugar, Billie agreed to wear the gown on one very important condition – that the Oscar de la Renta team stop using fur.

Given that she ended up wearing the gown at the Met, we can only assume the fashion house agreed to her demand. After all, with Billie's level of influence, who wouldn't? Reporting on the rumoured deal, The New York Times said: "Ms. Eilish is perhaps the only Met Gala guest in history to elicit an ethical policy change from a company as a condition of wearing its gown to fashion's version of the Super Bowl."

The report continued: "Oscar de la Renta will terminate all fur sales at the urging of Ms. Eilish, who is a vegan and an animal rights activist."

We love to see it πŸ‘
