The best new movies to look forward to in 2022

Time to settle in

By , Sophie Williams

Whether it’s a rainy Sunday or a chilled-out mid-week evening, there’s nothing we love more than sinking into the sofa with our comfies on, surrounded by snacks, ready to watch a brand new film. That, and cosying up in the cinema with a big box of popcorn, a generous amount of pick ’n’ mix, and and a super-size drink.

And as 2022 promises to be a great year for the silver screen, it looks as though we’re going to be spoilt for choice with the amount of films lined up for release. From several pandemic-delayed releases finally making their cinematic debut, including The Batman, and Morbius, there’s also quite a number of very-big-deal titles coming to screens, too. From Jennifer Lopez's theatrical return in Marry Me, to book adaptation Where the Crawdads Sing, here are 26 of the best films coming out in 2022.
