We’re officially crowning Celebrity Traitors as Britain’s fave game show. The psychological series, inspired by the games Mafia and Werewolf, returned to the BBC on 8 October 2025.

19 celebrities, including national treasures Stephen Fry, Tom Daley and Jonathan Ross, stepped inside Claudia’s castle to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charity. Singer Paloma Faith was the traitor’s first victim, after she was shockingly murdered in plain sight.

In the ultimate battle between trust and deception, we’ve seen our fair share of lies, backstabbing (Alan Carr, we’re looking at you) and heated discussions at the round table.

Broadcaster Kate Garraway, 58, was the latest celeb to be sent home after intense discussions around the table. However, the Good Morning Britain star admitted she “didn’t take it personally” when her fellow celebrities turned on her.

In fact, she shared that she’s part of a WhatsApp group with her Celebrity Traitors cast members. Despite some of the crew staying close, one star declined an invitation to join the chat…

Who isn’t in the Celebrity Traitors WhatsApp group?

Kate shared with The Sun that “the WhatsApp group is popping off all day and night, actually. It’s brilliant.”

Filming for the series wrapped in May 2025, so it has been six months of anticipation for the cast.

“We invited Claudia [Winkleman] to join the group because we all adore Claudia, obviously. But she said no. She said, ‘you need a place that’s just for you guys now that you’re out and you know what’s going on.’”

Are the other cast members still close?

Before stepping foot inside the castle, Paloma and Alan were close friends, even spending time at each other’s houses. However, after the comedian-turned-traitor betrayed Paloma by murdering her in plain sight, they may not be as chummy.

In his most recent podcast episode with Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim), Alan revealed, “She's not happy about it. There's been a few, let's say, TikTok things where she says I've let her down.”

As for the rest of the cast, actor Ruth Codd called Jonathan Ross a “f****ng snake” behind the scenes, after the traitors murdered her. Despite identifying the talk-show host as a traitor early on (go on, girl!), she struggled to rally the troops behind her.

However, according to Kate, the pair appeared to be absolutely fine at the cast reunion, so there’s clearly no bad blood lingering there.

The celebrity WhatsApp group will surely be popping off during the final episode, which airs on the BBC at 9pm on Thursday 6 November.
