Celebrity Traitors may have only just started, but fans have already spotted a major mistake that could blow 'Traitor' Alan Carr's cover.
The new series kicked off last night (8th October), and what an epic first episode it was. It saw Claudia Winkleman picking her three celebrity 'Traitors' - Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns, and Alan Carr - who were then ordered to commit their first murder in plain sight.
The trio were told that one of them would have to touch the poisonous lily and rub the face of the person they wanted to murder with the pollen.
With the castle full of contestants, they wondered how they'd be able to pull it off without being seen, so decided that Alan would be the best person for the job.
After getting everyone out of the bar, where the lily was, Jonathan lifted the lid, so Alan would be able to access it quickly. However, fans have noticed that Alan failed to put the lid back on after rubbing the flower, which could raise some suspicion if any of the others notice.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter),one fan wrote: "THEY DIDNT PUT THE LID BACK ON THE LILY #TheTraitors"
"Alan, noooo, you've left the lily uncovered! #CelebrityTraitors" another said.
"Alan Carr didnt put the lid back on the lily ffs," a third person wrote.
"The way Alan went for it touching that rose and then didnt even cover the lily up again #CelebrityTraitors," a fourth commented.
It comes after Alan admitted that he might be 'worse than Linda', who appeared on the third season of the civilian series earlier this year.
When Claudia Winkleman uttered the word "Traitors," Linda instantly turned to face her - just moments after being secretly chosen as a 'Traitor'. It was one of the most unintentionally hilarious moments viewers have seen on the BBC One show.
Fans are now convinced that Alan will be found out, with many dubbing him the "worst 'Traitor' ever".
"Alan is the most obvious 'Traitor' ever and will probably be one of the first out but he’s incredible television #thetraitors #celebritytraitors" one viewer wrote.
At least we'll have the memes to keep us entertained if he does leave early!
