There were pies, icks, love triangles and more during the inaugural season of Love Island All Stars, which saw Molly Smith and Tom Clare crowned as the winners in February this year. Now, as the nights get longer and colder, there's nothing more we want on our TV screens than the escapism of the Love Island villa.

And luckily for us we don't have long to wait until Love Island All Stars returns for season two early next year. Here's everything you need to know about the new series.

When does Love Island All Stars season 2 air?

Mark your calendars as Love Island All Stars officially returns for season two on ITV2 and ITVX on Monday 13th January at 9pm.

The exciting date reveal was posted on Love Island's official Instagram yesterday (16th December) with the post sharing an invitation from host Maya Jama which read: "Dear Islander, as dating royalty, you are cordially invited back to the villa as a Love Island All Star. 13th January at 9pm. Dress to impress. Maya x"

Eeek, so not long to go now!

When did ITV confirm a season 2 of Love Island All Stars?

During the summer Love Island final on 29th July 2024, Maya Jama revealed Love Island All Stars will be the next iteration of Love Island to hit our screens. After announcing Mimii and Josh as our official series winners, she said she looked forward to seeing everyone for the winter version, in which recognisable faces from previous years of the show are put into the villa in the hope of finding love... again.

Previously, ahead of the release of the summer series (which kicked off on 3rd June) ITV confirmed the All Stars series would return next year to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of show. Yep that's right, we've had an entire decade of Love Island.

Speaking on the exciting news, Mike Spencer, Creative Director at Lifted Entertainment said: "What a perfect way to celebrate a decade of Love Island, by bringing back another all star class of Islanders for what will, I'm sure, be another vintage year of romance, drama and relationships."

And then on 15th December ITV teased the return of the much-anticipated series on Instagram. "Dating royalty is BACK! 👑❤️," the caption of the post — which showed a glistening Love Island sceptre against a tropical background — read. There wasn't much else to go off in the short Reel, aside from a "coming soon" message, but that didn't stop fans flocking to the comments section with excitement.

"Now we need to know who got a text…" one person wrote, querying which Islanders are rumoured to be making a return. "My favourite brain rot is back," someone else said, as a third added: "Finally, it's been too long!"

Who will appear on Love Island All Stars series 2?

This year's Love Island All Stars saw icons such as Georgia Steel, Chris Taylor, Liberty Poole and more return to the villa for another chance at finding love, with some leaving coupled up while others stayed single.

While we could potentially see some of this year's All Stars contestants return again, we're sure there are plenty of other Islanders that might want to return to the villa for another chance at finding love. Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet but there are some Islanders who have said it's definitely off the cards (see: Maura Higgins, Adam Collard and Kady McDermott 😢).

If, like us, you're wondering if you'll see other contestants make a re-appearance in the series, head here for what we know about the rumoured cast.

Who will host Love Island All Stars series 2?

Good news! Maya Jama is officially set to return once again as the host of Love Island All Stars. Her confirmation as host comes after it was falsely rumoured she would be leaving the show.

Earlier this week Maya responded to claims she was leaving the series as host, writing on her Instagram Story to deny the claims, "I will be hosting Love Island next year & have no plans to leave right now. Filmed the promo a couple days ago actually. Fake news is fake news-ing as usual."

We can't wait to see Maya back on our screens.
