We're now three seasons into The Kardashians, and it has to be said: Khloé is carrying the whole show on her incredibly toned back. From her unfiltered jokes, to being extremely candid about every problem she's going through, she's doing the absolute most. Without her the most recent season would just be a lukewarm feud between Kim and Kourtney, and a few shots of Kendall riding a horse whilst promoting 818.
In the last two and a half seasons of the show, we've seen Khloé find out about Tristan's infidelity, share the birth of her son via surrogate, and document her melanoma battle. Every episode she either provides us with the searingly honest truth about how she's coping with very private parts of her life, or she's the life and soul of the party, sharing witty anecdotes, going on random adventures with Kris or keeping the peace between her sisters. And who could underestimate how great she looked as Kris at Kris Jenner's birthday party?
Longtime Kardashian fans will remember Khloé being one of the main driving forces on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, providing essential comedic relief, often with Scott Disick by her side, while also letting viewers into her motherhood journey and her relationships with Lamar Odom and Tristan Thompson. With the new reboot on Hulu, many viewers were hoping Khloé wouldn't have to do all the heavy lifting.
And yet, despite all of the sisters signing on to the revived reality series, Khloé (and to an extent, Kim) are giving far more to viewers in comparison to the rest of the family. Kim even references it in the first episode of season three, when they read a review of a previous season and Kim said in a konfessional: "Khloé and I, we give real content. We’re sharing every last detail of our lives.”
In fairness, the other family members do give us real insight into their daily lives, with Kourtney and Travis sharing their difficult IVF journey and Kylie sharing why she changed her son's name from Wolf to Aire. But often the other sisters seem resistant to share their real lives and instead focus on manufactured scenes like Kendall teaching Kylie to drive a manual car. It's not exactly the content fans signed up for.
And Khloé and Kim seem all too aware of this, both appearing to have a deep respect and understanding for providing the fans with authentic storylines and entertaining experiences to watch. And viewers are taking note, with many praising Khloé in particular for continuing to be the MVP of The Kardashians.
One person on Twitter wrote: "Forget the Kim vs Kourt drama this is the Khloé show." Whilst another said: "Khloé is so funny every episode!" and another added: "Khloe carried KUWTK and is still carrying this Hulu series #TheKardashians."
While it would be nice to see more of the whole family's lives play out in real time, we have to admit we could easily just watch a whole season of Khloé's life. After all, Kourtney is the ‘least exciting to look at’ (IYKYK), Kylie has five minutes screen time and Kendall only talks about horses, so it’s no wonder Khloé is easily the most exciting to watch. She just makes great television. Despite all she's gone through, her light never dims; she turns up to each episode full of energy, humour and charisma.
Take one of the most recent episodes of season three, in which Khloé attends Kim's D&G show in Milan. In an episode meant to be about Kim and Kourtney's ongoing feud, the standout scenes all revolved around Khloé. From flirting with actor Michele Morrone, to being pranked by niece North West, she's just hilarious, warm, and a total joy to watch.
Kris, is it too late to rename it The Khloé Show?
