Love Island fans have questioned whether producers knew Brad McClelland and Lucinda Stratford had the least amount of public votes, before going on their date in last night's episode [13 July].

Original islander Brad and bombshell Lucinda coupled up pretty quickly after she arrived in the villa with Millie Court. In Tuesday's episode, they went on their first date.

The pair spent the afternoon in a courtyard with a bottle of wine, and while both Brad and Lucinda seemed to enjoy themselves, people on Twitter have questioned what producers were up to.

Later in the episode, Brad and Lucinda were revealed as the 'least compatible', as voted for by the general public, meaning one of them will go home. Twitter users were questioning whether producers knew about the public vote already, and sent them on a date anyway.

"LMFAOOO BRAD AND LUCINDA REALLY GOT SENT ON A DATE JUST TO COME BACK AND FIND OUT ONE HAS TO GO HOME," one person wrote. Another added, "Still reeling over love island giving Brad and Lucinda a cheeky date KNOWING they were gonna boot them off I have to laugh."

Someone else said, "I love the fact producers sent Brad and Lucinda on a date knowing full well they had the lowest votes out of everyone else."

Whether it was planned or not, that is some sneaky TV.
