During Thursday’s episode of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner revealed that her youngest daughter needs to go to extreme lengths to keep herself safe.
"Kylie will spend anywhere between $300,000 and $400,000 (£232,500 – £310,000) a month on security, everywhere she goes. It’s a big operation," she replied when fellow contestant Cliff Parisi asked about her family’s security.
"How does that make you feel that your daughters have to go through that just to go to the shops?" contestant Roman Kemp went on to ask.
"It's sad but they have been doing it forever," Caitlyn replied.
"They like having the security guys there."
The 70-year-old is of course going to chat about her famous daughters from time to time - given Kylie is a bonafide billionaire and Kendall is a supermodel - but she’s on the show to reveal more about herself and her journey.
"Whilst of course she adores her family and will reference them in the jungle occasionally, she is there as herself so that the British public can see who Caitlyn really is and not the person in the TV shows and magazines," a source told MailOnline.
According to the same insider, since she entered the jungle a fortnight ago, she’s caused a bit of sadness back home.
The Jenner-Kardashian clan were ‘distraught’ when they witnessed her crying and threatening to quit during the first night of her stint on I’m A Celebrity, because she’s "normally the complete opposite, so upbeat and positive."
Fortunately, the family are in much better spirits now that Caitlyn is doing much better sticking it out in the jungle.
