- At her Florida performance on Sunday, Ariana Grande took a nasty fall on-stage.
- Fortunately, a back-up dancer was there to gracefully catch the singer.
- The 26-year-old was a good sport about the incident, later tweeting: "oh my. at least i still made the button. i’m crying. things were going too well."
A certain pair of boots had Ariana Grande walkin' - and falling - 'Side To Side' at her recent concert in Tampa, Florida.
The 26-year-old can be seen strutting - nay, prowling - across the stage on Sunday like a sleek lioness. She’s rocking her signature long ponytail and something a little extra…
Skyscraping thigh-high boots. The footwear in question is intimidatingly high stiletto heels. Most mere mortals would stack it in the dressing room just briefly trying those things on.
As Ari continues to perform her second track of the night, she takes a bit of a tumble and beautifully falls into the arms of a backup dancer.
After the mad stack, the popstar was sure to give a warm address to her fans.
“Thank you for making me feel loved when I fell earlier,” Ari said.
“I had to fall. It’s been 87 shows and I haven’t fallen yet, so it had to happen.”
Ah, Murphy's/Grande's Law.
She even retweeted the video of her fall with the caption: "oh my. at least i still made the button. i’m crying. things were going too well."

Fans online have been quick to point out that she appears to stumble to the beat of the song.
“She literally fell as the drum was hit,” wrote one Twitter user.
Others have been nothing but adoring of the back up dancer as he angelically catches her in his arms.
“That dancer. Now he’s a star as well. He caught her sooo gracefully that it was beautiful. I couldn’t stop watching it,” wrote one user.
“Was she falling for that guy? Nice save man,” wrote another.
And then there were the people who rapidly turned the situation into a ~deep~ metaphor about life, re: how to fall and "get back up again."
