SPOILER ALERT: Spoilers for Game Of Thrones season 8, episode 5 ahead…
So the latest episode of Game Of Thrones was hellishly stressful.
Not only did we lose a whole host of GOT favourites (and a couple of jerks. Yeah, we’re mostly looking at you, Euron…), we had to finally deal with the fact that the HBO show is coming to an end next week.
And just to really hammer that home, here’s the very final trailer of Game Of Thrones that you will ever, ever see.
There’s not a great deal to work with here, except the fact that Arya looks stressed, Tyrion looks distraught and the back of Daenerys' head looks, well, emotionless, tbh.
I mean, we know something big is coming, and we’re scared. We’re very, very scared.
Quick reminder of how that shit went down in the last episode: Euron and his fleet were waiting in the water outside King's Landing; completely unaware of the trap they had sailed into. Whoopsie. Euron only realises what’s going on at the last second when he looks up and sees Drogon raining fire down onto his ships.
Euron jumps overboard and flees but eventually ends up face to face with Jaime on the beach where Jaime kills him. But Jaime is seriously injured from the fight, and ends up dying in Cersei’s arms. Oh, and no big deal, but she dies too.
Bummer…
