Selling Sunset was arguably one of the most addictive series on Netflix of 2019, and we couldn't get enough of all the luxe Los Angeles properties and Christine's passive aggressive hair flicking.
The eight-part series was Netflix's first ever docu-soap, and it follows the lives of six glamorous realtors in the cutthroat world of real estate at The Oppenheim Group - a company which sells luxurious homes to affluent and celebrity clients.
The realtors are: Mary, Christine, Chrishell, Maya, Heather and Davina, and they can make up to a $1million in a single commission. And Jason and Brett Oppenheim are the no-nonsense twins who founded the group, and often have to intervene when Christine starts kicking off at a colleague.
So what we want to know is... will we be getting a Selling Sunset season 2? The good news is, YES! We will. And it's dropping TODAY [ May 22].
When will Selling Sunset season 2 be released?
Last month, Netflix announced that we can expect Selling Sunset season 2 to drop on the streaming service in May. It's a quarantine miracle! While announcing their May 2020 slate, which includes White Lines, Dead To Me season 2 and a whole host of great movies, they confirmed season 2 of Selling Sunset would also make the cut.
How did Selling Sunset season 1 end?
The first series concluded with an extremely dramatic finale - but what else do you expect when almost every night is cocktail night and you have so much Veuve Clicquot Rose that you're spraying it all over your guests just for fun?
After a few too many glasses, by her own admission, Christine laid into Chrishell over a private conversation that Chrishell had had with Davina about Mary and Romain's relationship, their ten-year age gap, and whether Mary fully financially supports Romain.
Chrishell had joked that if they do marry, Mary better get Romain to sign a pre-nup, but Davina thought her questions were two-faced, as she had been so nice to Mary when she was upset about Romain not being ready for children. Christine also accused Chrishell of being two-faced by pretending she didn't remember her questions about Mary and Romain to save face when Davina brought it up in front of everyone.
It all ended with Christine calling Chrishell a "b*tch who must own a Sunglasses Hut because she is so f*cking shady." Ouch!
The final scene the following day saw Christine trying to make amends and apologise to Chrishell, and Chrishell coldly reciprocating with the most unconvincing hug we've ever seen, and we don't know what was more painful - her withering hug or Christine's Sunglasses Hut comment.
What could Selling Sunset season 2 look like?
Fans have been be left wondering whether Chrishell or Christine will make up, if Mary and Romain will actually make it down the aisle, if Heather's boyfriend will ever materialise, and what cute maternity clothes Maya will be wearing soon.
