Hi. Ariana Grande released her new album last night which means I'm running on zero sleep and a million feelings. And not only did she DO THAT, she also casually dropped a new music video for the song 'Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored.'
And um, despite tons of pre-album speculation that this song was about Ariana getting Big Sean to break up with his girlfriend Jhené Aiko, the video has a twist ending. Turns out Ariana ends up with a girl (who looks a ton like her):
And fans are... well, they're losing their sh*t. First, there are the people who are just pumped as hell about the song:
And then we have the fans who are fully shook by the ending:
Though to be honest the reaction hasn't been 100% positive. There's also been some strong concern on Twitter about queerbaiting:
But plenty of people think the girl in the song is actual representative of Ariana, and that the message behind it is self-love (with tracks with the theme of 'thank u, next'):
