RIP to Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande's adorably cute relationship, and now it's time to bid adieu to their couple tattoos. While Pete covered up his bunny ear tattoo before his and Ariana's split was even announced, Ariana has taken a little more time to metaphorically erase him from her life.

Ariana used a plaster to cover up her 'Pete' finger tattoo while taping her Wicked performance, and it looks like she's taken more drastic and permanent measures to cover up another one of her tattoos.

Last night, she posted an Instagram Story of her toasting and drinking with some of her friends, which showed off her new fern leaf ink.

The tattoo is cute and all, but it's what's underneath that really matters. Before she had the fern leaf, Ariana used to have a sizeable tattoo on her left hand that said "reborn," which was a direct reference to one of Pete's favourite Kid Cudi songs.

By permanently covering up one of her Pete-related tattoos for the first time, Ariana is basically signaling that she's totally over their relationship and isn't trying to hold onto these memories. Obviously nobody knows which one she'll remove next, but that "Pete" one has to go soon, right?
