Fresh off the back of promoting Devil Wears Prada 2, actor Anne Hathaway has shared the joyful news online that she is pregnant with her third child, posting a reveal video of her bump to Instagram (where she has a casual 41 million followers!). Anne opted for the simple caption: "x Baby, I’m yours x".

From Hollywood actors to musicians, a growing number of high-profile women have welcomed children later in life, helping to challenge outdated assumptions about pregnancy after 40 and offering reassurance to others considering parenthood on their own schedule.

Here, we take a look at all the celebrities who announced pregnancies in their forties and beyond.
