For anyone glued to Netflix's second season of At Home with the Furys (same!), you may well be curious as to why all four of boxer Tyson Fury's sons, who he shares with wife Paris, have the same first name: Prince.
Well, according to Tyson himself it's connected to his boxing nickname – The Gypsy King.
When commenting on why his boys are called Prince John James (aged 15), Prince Tyson II (11), Prince Adonis Amaziah (7), and Prince Rico Paris (2), the father of seven said, "[It is because] I'm a king, and they're princes until they earn their rightful name."
As for how exactly Tyson sees his Princes becoming Kings, he wasn't clear – but several of his children, including eldest son Prince John James, have expressed a clear interest in following in his athletic footsteps. Perhaps once they've also won a world title they'll be able to switch things up?
And as for how Tyson and Paris distinguish between their boys, their eldest goes by the name of 'Prince', the younger Tyson is known as 'Tutty' (unclear why), Prince Adonis is best known as 'Adonis' and little Prince Rico is simply known as 'Rico' by his loved ones.
So there you have it... Mystery solved!
