Lizzo is certainly not someone to shy away from speaking candidly on social media, which is just one of the many reasons why we love her. Just last month she posted an emotional TikTok video about the downsides of fame, and now she's taken to the app again to open up about having negative thoughts surrounding body image.
This isn't the first time Lizzo has spoken on the topic, with the star recently saying that she wants to move away from the body positive movement in order to try to be more "body-normative".
But in one of her latest TikToks the singer discussed how she still has negative thoughts about herself from time to time - and she reminded her followers that that is totally normal, too.
Lizzo captioned the candid video, writing, "A little tmi for ur fyp... for anyone who has these thoughts too I hope you have a better day tomorrow".
Speaking to the camera, she told her followers: "I came home and I took my clothes off to take a shower and I just started having all of these really negative thoughts about myself.
"Like, you know, 'What's wrong with me? Maybe everything, [and] all the mean things people say about me are true.' And, you know, 'Why am I so disgusting?' And [I was] hating my body."
Everyone's clicking on...
Lizzo continued, explaining how it's not always possible to have positive thoughts, adding that everyone has negative thoughts about their body from time to time.
"Normally, I would have some positive thing to say to get me out of this, but I don't, and that's OK too," she explained. "I think these are normal [thoughts and feelings] and they happen to everybody, they happen to the best of us.
"I can only hope that it changes for the better. I know I'm beautiful, I just don't feel it. But, I know I'm gonna get through it."
It's so refreshing to see stars like Lizzo speaking so candidly about body image and, to be honest, we'll never get bored of hearing Lizzo's wisdom.
