Gigi Hadid has given her fans the first glimpse at her baby bump two months before her due date. The supermodel, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik, hopped on Instagram Live on Wednesday night and showed off her belly as she revealed why she's decided to remain private about her pregnancy.
Addressing fans who said she didn’t look pregnant in her last Instagram Live, she lifted open her shirt to show off her growing bump. "There’s my belly, y’all. Like it’s there. It's just from the front it's different," she laughed.
Promoting her latest project with V magazine - the Gigi Journal: Part II - the model asked fans to send her questions ahead of the Q&A. "A lot of the questions were not regarding the journal, [they] were regarding my pregnancy which I am so grateful for," Gigi began. “The positive comments and the questions just wanted to know that we're all good and safe and everything's going great and I love you guys and I do appreciate those positive comments.”
The 25-year-old also explained why she’s not been posting more about her pregnancy, continuing: "Obviously, I think a lot of people are confused why I am not sharing more but I am pregnant through a pandemic… obviously my pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world. That's a reason that I felt like it's not really something that I need to share apart with my family and friends."
She added that she’s been documenting her pregnancy journey for her nearest and dearest, but will share pictures with fans "in the future".
"I have been taking a lot of pictures of my bump, and sending it to friends and family and it has been cute and exciting and I'm trying to document it well because I've hear a lot of people say 'make sure you don't miss it' and I will be sharing stuff like that in the future. I am not rushed to do it and I feel like right now I want to experience it and I write in my journal a lot."

Gigi, who is thought to be due in September, confirmed her pregnancy in early May during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. After Fallon congratulated her on the news following days of speculation, she said: "We're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support."
We can't wait to see the pictures when Gigi's ready to share them.
