One of our favourite things about body positivity advocate and singer, Lizzo (whose friendship with Harry Styles recently provoked some unusual responses), is that she's not afraid to call out any suspected BS. This time, she's sent a loud and clear message to video sharing platform TikTok, after they removed videos of her in a bathing suit.

Posting a short clip of her lip-syncing the words "I know", while wearing an orange t-shirt, Lizzo overlayed the screen with text that read: "TikTok keeps taking down my videos with me in my bathing suits. But allows other videos with girls in bathing suits. I wonder why? TikTok we need to talk."

The talented musician is known for regularly posting videos on social media promoting self-love and acceptance for any and all body shapes and sizes (too right), so the implication here is that TikTok have chosen to discriminate against her as a plus-size woman. Which, obviously, is seriously uncool.

However, a spokesperson for TikTok later told InStyle that the removal of the (now-restored) clip had nothing to do with Lizzo's body type, and that the video was taken down as it appeared to not comply with community guidelines, because she was flashing her underwear. However, after TikTok reviewed the video and saw she was wearing a swimsuit, it was put back up on her page.

We're glad that the video has been restored to it's full glory, but it's unclear as to whether any others have been too, as Lizzo mentions plural videos in her post. Let's hope they're all back on her profile, because in our opinion, you can never have too much Lizzo (seriously, who else can pull off walking a red carpet dressed as a literal bar of chocolate?). We love you, Lizzo.
