After being crowned the most popular beauty icon of 2022 earlier this month, Hailey Bieber has only gone and topped the search charts again.
The 26-year-old model, who is BFFs with fellow model and reality star Kendall Jenner, has amassed nearly 50 million followers on Instagram and 10.5 million on TikTok. So it's no surprise she's *the* most influential public figure when it comes to beauty.
Hailey has already been responsible for a number of trends this year, including the controversial brownie glazed lips, and her glazed donut skin look, the latter of which gained popularity after her most recent Met Gala appearance.
But based on the top trending queries of the year, the Rhode founder came out on top with "Hailey Bieber nails" in terms of nail searches on Google.
The popular design in question was her glazed donut nails (do we detect a theme here?) which also made their debut at this year's Met. Perfected by nail artist Zola Ganzorigt, the look went viral, and since then, has been recreated on social media an incredible amount of times.
The design is achieved by using a combination of light, nude gel base coats, and then topped with a pearlescent chrome powder, and takes inspiration from the Y2K era but with a more modern twist. Hailey's nail artist even dropped a TikTok video exploring different shades of the now-iconic beauty trend, adding that all of the products she used were completely accessible and available on Amazon.
Everyone's clicking on...
And with videos with the hashtag 'Hailey Bieber makeup' also receiving commendable stats - we're talking 167 million on TikTok and up 421% compared to 2021 on Google - we're pretty sure that the model will be able to hold on to these titles for a lot longer.
