We heart lipstick but we hate when it transfers. Yep there are plenty of amazing long-wear formulas out there, but these tricks will help with all lippies - from matte to glossy - stay put on our pout, and not your pearly whites. So if you suffer from transfer to your teeth, follow these steps to avoid it now and forever:
1. Make a magnet for your lipstick by wearing lip liner underneath. Don't just rim your pout with it but fill in your lips entirely; it will grip your lippy in place.
2. Apply your lipstick with a brush - whatever the formula, this will make it longer lasting because you're packing the pigment on.
3. Sandwich it with another layer of your matching lip liner for the ultimate longevity that won't transfer.
4. Blot your lips on a tissue and, with clean hands, place your index finger between pursed lips and pull it out. Any excess lippie near the teeth area should remain on your finger.
5. If you still find you get lipstick transfer, try applying some clear multi-purpose balm to your teeth, this will act as a barrier against the lippy - and no one will know.
