Are you looking to inject a new hint of floral whimsy into your fragrance collection for the new season? We can't blame you! With the weather actually playing ball lately in the UK, it feels like now is one hundred per cent the time to splash out on a new scent and floral is naturally the fragrance family of the season, as blossom hits its peak.

Now, Elizabeth Arden isn't the beauty brand that I expected to have the floral fragrance pick of the season, to be honest. The classic brand, for me, is high-performing skincare (hi, have you tried their Retinol + HPR? Or surely their Eight Hour Cream? Incredible) but their fragrances have slipped under my radar somewhat – apart from White Tea is a core classic. However the brand's recent scent launch has caused a real stir. What customers say:
"I love this fragrance, it is the perfect scent that boosts my confidence and makes me feel special! The pink pepper and the dragonfruit notes are lovely together, and the entire fragrance composition resonates with me."
Our review:
The initial spray, before it settles into our skin, is a pure floral/fruit hybrid. The dragonfruit and pear on the top of the notes really burst out, but don't be fooled, this really lifts off quickly, which is why I would be hesitant to label it as fruity at all. As the scent mingled with my warm skin, the floral notes really started to sing, and while it has a gentle depth (more on that in a mo), it also has an elegant powdery lightness to it that is beautiful for this season. The bouquet of peonies, jasmine and rose really shines through right until the perfume completely lifts off the skin. The thing that I was really pleasantly surprised about was the ambery-spicy warmth that gives the scent a sexy, woody depth that makes it a really elegant yet sultry pick for spring.
