Kourtney Kardashian Barker may have embraced a more grunge aesthetic since falling head over heels for new hubby Travis Barker, but that didn't stop her getting the cutest pastel matching mani's with 11-year-old daughter Penelope. Yes P is 11. Please make it stop. Where has time gone? How old am I? What year is this?

The eldest Kardashian granddaughter was proudly showing off her mommy and me mani on holibobs with her mum. Kourt's currently pregnant with her 4th child, a third brother for the star's only daughter, so it's lovely to see these two having some girly bonding.

The duo went for a mix-and-match French mani with a nude base and pastel tips. The look was created by Kardashian go-to Kim Truong, who shared the look to Instagram captioned "Mommy and me manis for @kourtneykardash and P."

Swiping past the first smiley snap – ft cute matching crochet looks – we can get a look at the pair's adorable matching nails. Kim revealed the colours used and we're loving the sweet shade list from brand Manucurist:

"Get the look 💅🏼 @manucurist Green Flash
🫶🏻Pale rose
🍵Mint
💛Mimosa
🦋Light blue
💜Lisa Lilas
🌸Petula + 🤍Snow"

Kim (Truang) also co-created another mommy-and-me look for Kim and North, with these incredible and chaotic Kawai Hello Kitty nails, with Kim doing Kim's and @nailsbydiem creating North's.

The Kardashians have come under fire for allowing the girls nail extensions or elaborate manicures, but I don't think those people have met tween girls before. I remember getting a set of stick on nails with my Make it Groovy magazine in primary school. Given the fact that Kim and North's are covered in nail charms and Hello Kitty, for a holiday in Japan, arguments that they aren't age appropriate seems a reach. As long as the nails are being safely applied and removed without damaging their nails, why not let them have their fun on special occasions?
