Ever since he burst onto the American rap scene back in 2019, we've seen Lil Nas X sport a number of OTT beauty looks. And of course, they are ones to note. From his curly Prince-inspired bangs to the fashion week chest-length braids we saw earlier this year, Nas (can I call you that, Nas?) has served time and time again. But now he's only gone and topped the previous with our fave look to date. Allow me to present: the choppy pink bob.

The rapper took to Instagram over the weekend to debut said hair transformation with a ten-part carousel post. The look came to us for Nas' 2022 League of Legends World Championship performance and to share his excitement, wrote in the caption: "SAFFA 💕✨ THANK U SO MUCH RIOT! SHOUTOUT TO DRX!".

Whilst the gamers amongst us are most probably reeling off of the impressive technology, us beauty fanatics are all here for the bubble gum pink wig. Scroll to the fourth slide below to see the look in all its glamorous glory:


The tapered layers frame his face flawlessly and even fall into style with an ombré effect – the roots of the wig are a lighter pink and the ends have more of a vibrant tone. And can we also just talk about the length? I mean, the straight style sits perfectly at shoulder length and the fringe just on the eyebrow.

As for the makeup, Nas has opted for a gold glitter graphic eyeliner, topped off with star embellishments on the cheekbone.

In the comments section, one fan recognised an unlikely celebrity resemblance, writing: "It’s giving Hilary Duff", and I suppose, this must be what dreams are truly made of...
