Kim Kardashian and her right-hand man, aka celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, are the power duo that everyone looks to for hair inspo. Together, we've seen them create top-tier beauty looks, from the Pam Anderson updo to the shortest bob she's ever had. Oh, and they even resurrected the MySpace 'scene' era side fringe. Now though, they're stripping back the time usually carved out for glam with a look that'll take you just five minutes to recreate.
Taking to his Instagram story to share Kim's hairstyle for her Good Morning America TV appearance, Chris coined the look the 'wet flip bun'. Aaaand, I know what you're thinking: it doesn't sound too appealing – but bear with us. To achieve the wet flip bun, Kim's hair has been slicked to the back over her head with an immense amount of styling product and tied into a ponytail, meaning there's not a flyaway in sight.
However, instead of pulling the ponytail completely through it's final loop, Chris has stopped halfway, leaving half of the remaining hair to sit bun-like. Saying what we were all thinking, the hair genius said in the video: "That bun is giving!".
IDK about you but this is the sort of style that anyone – and I mean anyone – can recreate. And of course, we're so here for it. A chic look that takes half the time as usual? Uhhhh yes, please!
Taking full advantage of the look, Kim not only wore the bun in the morning but out in the evening and at a wellness spa, too.
Here is the beauty mogul, entrepreneur and all-around trend-setter rocking the fast and versatile look on her Instagram story. And yep, that is Kim submerged in an ice bath. I could never.

What more could you want in a hairstyle, ey?!
