It's only Tuesday and Megan Fox has already had one hell of a week.

First there was her MTV Video Music Awards appearance on Sunday night, which we're still not fully over to be quite honest.

The naked dress, the straight out the shower hair, definitely a look that will go down in history.

For her Met Gala look however, Megan switched things up completely, taking inspiration from '50s pin up icon Bettie Page.

Wearing a red lace up dress, Megan's hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons swept her hair back into a snatched bum-skimming plait, complete with lace up ties to match her dress.

If you were mesmerised by the back of Megan's hair, wait until you see the front.

In his Instagram stories Andrew shared his inspiration for Megan's hair, including reference pictures of both Bettie Page's 1950s style fringe and Traci Lord's.

For his "modern day pin up idol" inspiration, Andrew added a faux, rounded short fringe, which Megan pulled off to perfection.

Remember when we said Megan is having one hell of a week, Andrew must be due a lie in as well.

Sadly we can't all have an Andrew in our lives, but we can have the exact products he used as thankfully he shared a sneak peek of his backstage kit.

Andrew partnered with Living Proof for the night, using their Full Dry Volume Blast, Flex Hairspray, Restore Smooth Blowout Concentrate, Instant De-Frizzer and Restore Perfecting Spray.

We also spotted Andrew's very own Root Concealer and flat clips which are from his exclusive range with Primark. Which, by the way, includes our favourite ever dry shampoo.
