- Paralympian Beatriz Hatz was eliminated from Love Island USA after America voted for Gabriel Vasconcelos to couple with bombshell Jen Terry instead of her.
- Just two days after her elimination, Bea went live on Instagram to call out Gabriel for moving on too quickly, claiming he cried in her face, then kissed Jen within an hour.
- Fans later expressed regret over the vote, noting that Gabriel and Bea’s Spanish conversations showed a deeper connection and emotional vulnerability that wasn’t fully shown on screen.
Love Island USA’s Paralympian diva, Beatriz Hatz, may have bid farewell to the Fiji Villa a few days ago, but she’s already spilling some tea with fans in the aftermath of her elimination.
On Sunday, June 14—just two days after she was uncoupled from Gabriel Vasconcelos when America voted for him to pair up with bombshell Jen Terry—Bea hopped on an Instagram Live to talk about her time on the fan-favorite dating show.
When she was asked how she felt about Gabriel “moving fast” with Jen after she packed her bags and headed home, Bea and her friends off-camera immediately screamed before she gave her real reaction.
“Because… how are you gonna cry in my face and then less than an hour, be booed up in bed?” Bea said during the livestream after her friends claimed Gabriel was “trash” for moving on so quickly.
“Okay, I get it. We’re sharing beds, that’s our new couple,” she continued, pointing out the show’s pattern when islanders are recoupled or booted off the Villa. “Y’all are already kissing? Did we not, like…shit, so you’re not grieving me at all. Maybe I thought I was more important than I was, lowkey.”
In case you somehow missed Bea’s elimination, allow me to give you a refresher of what went down last week in the Villa. Fans were instructed to vote for which Islanders each of the three new Bombshells should couple up with, leaving their original partners single and vulnerable.
Sol was paired up with Sincere (despite the Melanie of it all), while Caleb was paired with Kenzie. Naturally, viewers voted for Jen to pair up with Gabriel because of his initial reaction to her entrance.
Since then, fans have expressed their regrets since it meant Beatriz was booted from the Villa.
“The conversation between bea n Gabriel at the end makes me wish we seen more between them. Everytime they communicated in Spanish, Gabriel was able to truly express himself. I wish we seen more of that. I never expected to see that man cry,” one person wrote, while another added, “we didn’t know who else to put jen with.”
Upon Bea’s exit from the Villa, she and Gabriel had an emotional heart-to-heart, which was mainly spoken in Spanish. “Thank you for always treating me like a normal person,” she said, referring to her prosthetic leg, as he cried.
Gabriel and Jen are still off the grid in the Villa, so they have yet to react to Bea’s response. I guess we’ll have to see how it eventually plays out during the season 8 reunion later this summer!
