West Wilson blew up his friendships with pretty much everyone in the Summer House cast when he started secretly dating Amanda Batula—including his BFF Jesse Solomon who he’s been extremely close to since they joined the show together back in season 8. Fans have been wondering whether or not Jesse would forgive West and continue the friendship post-scandal, and apparently the answer is…nope! At least not yet.

Anyone who watched the Summer House reunion saw how visibly upset Jesse was throughout, making it clear that he felt personally betrayed by West lying to his face about Amanda.

“It’s bad for the friend group long term,” Jesse told Vulture, echoing what he said on the reunion. “No part of me is happy that this happened. I would even say to West, when I was suspicious, ‘Dude, please, if any bit of this is true, stop and lock it up and figure your shit out.’ He sure didn’t.”

In terms of what has to happen for Jesse and West to become friends again, Jesse said, “I don’t know. I’m a really slow decision-maker, one of my Achilles heels. In this case, I think it’s fair to need some time. West needs to learn how to treat people, in particular women, because he treats other people in his life—friends and family—really well. I think a change there is necessary. And then just apologizing for the things that actually hurt people. I know he’s full of regret with how this all went down, so I’m hoping he can learn and grow from it and be a better person and friend.”

Sounds like the door isn’t fully closed, but with West being fired from Summer House, these two definitely won’t be spending as much time together as they used to.
