John Hill: The Early Aughts
Andy and John (a producer on Radio Andy) dated seriously for a few years in the early 2000s. Yeah, they eventually parted ways, but they’ve remained super close friends over the years. The exes spoke about their split during John’s 2020 live show, with John explaining, “It was just time,” while Andy added, “We were in different places in our lives.”
John also told Hot Takes & Deep Dives (via Bravo) that the breakup was “heartbreaking and super sad,” but added, “like any breakup that’s sad, it was time to break up. I was changing careers, I was nearing 30… He was going to change careers, too. I knew he was going to a bigger network, and he was adjusting to that. We’ve always had an intimate connection. We’ve always had an emotional vulnerability—an honest, open relationship. We were great together. We always made each other laugh. That’s the reason. We grew apart in terms of boyfriendness. We had the friendship, we had the love, but the boyfriend part was kind of fading.”
Clifton Dassuncao: 2013–2018
Andy and epidemiologist Clifton dated for about five years (sorry, no pics, Clifton is private!), and Andy told the Daily Dish in 2016 (via Bravo), “You know when you get into a relationship, you start mellowing out a little bit. I’m not a bachelor about town anymore. I’m an old man.”
He added, “I met him with Anderson Cooper on the opening night of my tour with Anderson. And Anderson has loved this guy from the moment that I met him. I remember saying to Anderson, like ten months ago, that Wacha really likes this guy and Anderson said ‘Dogs always know. You have to listen to your dog.’”
Kevin Sobieski: April 2026 to Circa Right Now!
Andy and Kevin debuted their relationship in early June when they were spotted holding hands at Via Carota. But they were actually photographed back in April (^ that pic up there), so it looks like they’ve been dating for a minute.
