Cardi B and Stefon Diggs may have split before the Super Bowl back in February, but they’re still part of each other’s lives as parents to their baby boy. That being said, the former couple reportedly reunited to celebrate Mother’s Day together, and TMZ caught a heated exchange between them outside of a coffee shop in Maryland.

In the clip—which has since gone viral with more than 1.3 million views on TikTok—she’s seen chewing him out. The reason behind their argument is unclear upon first watch, since the video was recorded from a distance and they’re inaudible.

However, a few days later, Cardi weighed in on the situation and revealed the real reason they were arguing in the first place. “Sometimes I forget I’m a celebrity…damn y’all ain’t never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?” the “Pretty and Petty” rapper wrote in a social media post shared on Wednesday, May 13.

A fan even confirmed that Cardi and Stefon’s exchange was intense, as she wrote, “No they definitely was arguing i was there…had to wait til they stopped to get my pic.”

Before their split earlier this year, the Grammy winner and NFL wide receiver were romantically linked since February 2025 and welcomed their first child together in November that same year.

Breakup rumors initially surfaced before Stefon and the New England Patriots played against the Seattle Seahawks at Super Bowl LX, when Cardi dryly wished him “good luck” when asked to leave him an inspiring message ahead of the big game.

Later that month, a source confirmed that Cardi and Stefon called it quits “a few days” before the Super Bowl, telling Us Weekly, “They are always so up and down. This isn’t the first time they have broken up.”

At the time, the insider added, “Cardi is single and putting herself out there again. She feels free. He betrayed her so many times. Her friends have been trying to show her that he is not right for her and that she deserved better.”
