The first Monday in May is incoming, and you know what that means: every celebrity on the planet is about to descend onto the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the 2026 Met Gala. The event is always packed with A-listers, but the guest list is a closely guarded secret, which means Monday night could have some surprises. Including, maybe (?!) BTS.
RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook have never attended the Met Gala (kinda wild given their popularity and relationships with major fashion brands!), but things could change this year. BTS are currently on their ARIRANG tour, and their schedule is extremely packed. However, fans clocked a gap in their tour dates that could be a sign a Met Gala appearance was worked into the schedule. Here’s what the next few days look like:
May 2: El Paso
May 3: El Paso
May 4: Free
May 5: Free
May 6: Free
May 7–10: Mexico City
As you can see, they have three free days in a row, and technically have time to fly from El Paso to New York City for the Met Gala (plus a few rest days) before heading to Mexico City.
But honestly, it’s a tight squeeze, especially considering they’d have to take an overnight flight from El Paso and need to have time for fittings ahead of the Met Gala red carpet, which tends to be on the early side.
Fingers crossed because we’d love to see BTS’s interpretation of the Costume Art theme!
