Tina Knowles has released a statement on Instagram, seemingly in response to disturbing tweets that Kanye posted (and has since deleted) about Jay Z and Beyoncé's children.
As TMZ, Us Weekly, and Page Six first reported, Tina captioned a video “Corny joke, time! ❤️ it’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil. But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper. 🙏🏽❤️ This battle is not mine, but the Lords, I know that God has got this.”
She went on to share the joke in question: “What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum? He has a meltdown. Y’all know that’s funny!”
Kanye has since pseudo apologized for the tweet, while simultaneously calling out Beyoncé and Jay Z for not attending his wedding to Kim Kardashian / not inviting him to perform at the Super Bowl. Neither Beyoncé nor Jay Z have engaged with him on the matter thus far.
