For reasons that will baffle me for years to come, Ryan Seacrest felt the need to inform us, the people of these United States, that he's clogged Kris Jenner's toilet and fled the scene.
Ryan recounted the moment during Kelly Ripa’s podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera and began, “I was in the powder room, the toilet was contemporary, and it was an all-black toilet. There are cameras in the house I was in, I think I know where they are, I don't think that they're in the bathroom, but it is in your head...they are in some of the common areas."
Truly already terrified, but there's more, I fear: “So, I was there, and I rushed over and did what I needed to do, and found that the toilet paper was put where it needed to be put, and the water level began to rise. And I clogged the toilet.”
Obviously, the question on everyone's mind is: Did it overflow? Fortunately, the answer is no. Unfortunately, Kelly then said “No, but you had to retrieve...you had to retrieve your...you wanted to retrieve what you put in there out of there,” which strongly suggested that Ryan fished out his own poop.
And when someone else in the room implied that he'd used a ladle to do so, Ryan said “It wasn’t a ladle. It was the toilet ring clean thing I used. It was a utensil that was convenient. It wasn’t a ladle. You think I had a ladle? I’m walking around with my Swiss Army Knife pulling out the ladle? It was the toilet ring cleaner!”
