There's nothing we love more than a Regency era love story, which is where the Bridgerton books come in. But did you know there's eight whole stories in total? Here's a look at the Bridgerton books in order, including the couple at the centre of each story, the date they were released, and what you can expect from each storyline.

What happens in it? The Duke of Hastings and his best friend Anthony Bridgerton's sister Daphne appear on the cusp of an engagement - but it's all a ruse. He wants to stay free from the attention of many mothers, keen for their daughter to marry him, while Daphne hopes it will make her more atttactive to other potential suitors. But, as is often the way, they soon develop into more than friends.

As the story develops, Anthony realises the tension with Kate is actually something else entirely: chemistry.
