A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: THREE OF PENTACLES
Taurus season is officially upon us, the sign of Venus and all things love, money, and pleasure focused. The Three of Pentacles agrees with the vibe as this earthy card signals secret admirers, high regard, and permission to get other folk involved in creating a good time for all. Parties ahoy! Look out for shy folk who smile at you and seem to linger; look out for colleagues or bosses who praise you and could offer you a project or role you’d love to try; look out for friends who need cheering up and you could join forces with to find some fun. Embrace here-and-now physical pleasures and pastimes. Eat, drink, and be merry, and let others bring you goodies this Taurus season!
ARIES: NINE OF SWORDS
The Nine of Swords is the most common card pulled in any tarot reading as it’s a universal issue: unspoken dread and anxiety. We all bottle up our deepest fears, and it does no good, so why do we do it? To not reveal our achilles heels? To not burden others? The Nine of Swords always urges self expression and discussion. Tell someone how you feel, Aries, and get the words out into the cold light of day. I promise you’ll feel better. This will evaporate.
TAURUS: TWO OF PENTACLES
It’s your party season and the lovely Two of Pentacles is bringing you everything you could possibly wish for, almost like a genie in a bottle. Why not make a wish (or three) and see what comes! The key to receiving abundance is gratitude. Be appreciative of all gifts, compliments, newcomers, ideas, inputs, and advice. Even the stuff that is not actually helpful or useful, welcome it warmly anyway because it signals you’re in receptive mode and are ready for more!
GEMINI: THREE OF WANDS
Spontaneity is the name of the game this week. That suits your free-wheeling nature and personality because you love to spot shiny new openings and opportunities and pursue them in the moment. It’s why you’re often late. The Three of Wands asks you to keep a clear schedule and an open diary this week because new news is coming your way. Things will swirl up out of the blue from strange sources, so be alert to a good thing when you spot it. And say YES.
CANCER: THE MAGICIAN
The Magician is a powerful and magical card inviting you to focus on your natural strengths and talents (ask others to help you clarify them if you can’t say what they are) and make more of them. You’re unique. No one has the blend and alchemy of gifts and experiences that you do. How can you refine, amplify, and expand on this? How can you turn what you do, love, and know into perhaps the way you make a living? Only when you truly love what you do can you be successful. Time to put this into practice.
LEO: PAGE OF WANDS
Be playful this week, Leo, and just let it rip and enjoy yourself whatever you’re doing. Bring a spoonful of sugar to each and every task. Add a dash of spice to all activities. Perform, imagine, fantasize. Paint a veneer of glamour over your schedule and a sprinkle of enchantment to your approach to life. Sometimes you have to live romantically, hype up the magic, create a larger-than-life version of your daily routine. It’s fun, it’s enlivening, and folks will want what you’re having, I promise! You are a natural performer so be the main character this week.
VIRGO: FOUR OF CUPS
Gratitude has almost become a scoffed at idea with all the journals, the affirmations, and such, but at heart, it’s a beautiful notion. Doesn’t it feel great when someone is truly thankful for something you said or did? Don’t you love the feeling of relief and comfort when someone does something for you that you truly needed? So, lean into it this week, authentically and in a way that touches people. Do good deeds and be openly grateful for those that have been done for you. This is a secret short cut to happiness!
LIBRA: EIGHT OF SWORDS
Librans have a secret blind spot (I know this because my sister is a Libra and I have observed it firsthand): Despite their penchant for fairness and objectivity, when it comes to their own position, they often overload the dice in their favor. They seek more than their fair share, but their mental gymnastics allow them to believe it truly WAS a fair share. The Eight of Swords speaks to this projection or illusion and urges Libra to turn and adopt a plain, unbiased perspective on a situation. This is the way to a fair, lasting, and honest resolution that won't come undone at the first inspection.
SCORPIO: EIGHT OF WANDS
Get yourself into a good vantage spot this week, Scorpio. Make sure you’re visible and accessible. Get a high-up place to view events from. Secure easy routes to the key players. Prepare your position and your roadmap and you will be able to capitalize on all of the wonderful new openings and opportunities that will swirl and fly around all week long. You could make a year’s worth of deals and new projects and alliances this week if you’re in the right place at the right time. Stay alert!
SAGITTARIUS: KNIGHT OF SWORDS
You are the zodiac’s archer, one of the only characters carrying a weapon I think, so fighting comes kinda naturally to all Sagittarians. Good job because the Knight of Swords is talking you into a bit of a scrap this week. It’s a worthy cause, though, and you need to show some assertion, if not tempered aggression, because others are after your spot. Don’t stand back or let them ride over you. Stand tall and protect your position. They have underestimated you. Let those arrows fly!
CAPRICORN: THE MOON
The Moon is a powerful card of illusion, mystery, secrets, and sometimes lies. What is certain when it appears is that there’s something you don’t yet know that you ought to know, and it will come to light now. Don’t make any major moves or decisions until this info has surfaced, because it might change what you decide to do. Be on the front foot this week in terms of investigating cloudy situations, unanswered questions, and suspicious events. Ask, research, validate, probe, dig. Get to the truth.
AQUARIUS: SEVEN OF SWORDS
Not everyone is as transparent, truthful, kind, and helpful as you are Aquarius. You are a true and pure spirit. The Seven of Swords shines a light on a shady character prowling your realm right now. This person is up to no good. Please don’t let them have full access to everything you’ve got going on—put up fences and boundaries, keep a watchful eye, react shrewdly to incursions and wrongdoing. You have to defend yourself. And that can be as easy as stepping back or pulling down the shade. No conflict, just prudence.
PISCES: DEATH
Don’t get scared now, Pisces, because Death is actually a positive card. Change is afoot, things that are due to end are going to wrap themselves up, and things that are emerging are going to burst into life. Ebb and flow. Chop and change. Get into the flow of this energy by cutting off a few deadheads yourself, and activating something you’re keen to do or try. Tread lightly and don’t cling onto the sides this week! Unseen forces are nudging you away from the rails and into the main stage. It’s time to let go and unfurl your full glory!
