You don't need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross spread, to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: your Sun sign! Here's what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality. Let’s go!

A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: KING OF WANDS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

A big week for relationships with a balancing Full Moon in Libra, Venus turning direct (aka back to normal), and Mercury moving into forthright Aries. Focus on saying what needs to be said, asking for truth, sharing vulnerability, and seeking to understand those you love and like a little deeper. The King of Wands asks you to bring fun, adventure, and excitement to this process. Doing new, thrilling things with people whose company you enjoy is just about the best tonic for you personally and your connection (people are more open when they’re relaxed and happy). Focus on making memories, sharing an experience, and building trust through helping each other do something different. Look to the areas of travel, education, creativity, hobbies, or lifestyle activities. Book some stuff. Get the dates pinned down. Create excitement and something for everyone to look forward to!

ARIES: EIGHT OF PENTACLES

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

Don’t give up. Whatever it is you’re thinking of giving up on, please give it a small stay of execution. Let the clock tick on a little longer. I think things will take a turn for the better this week and you will see a pathway ahead that feels much easier than the one you’ve been trying to walk. The Eight of Pentacles brings breakthroughs and rewards for persistence and hard work. Your diligence and determination has been seen and valued, and the Universe is going to repay it. So, don’t give up until something has changed, and then you can reassess. I think you’ll stay the course.

TAURUS: THE FOOL

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

Spring is a time for new beginnings, clean slates, and growth. The Fool reinforces all of that as it is the first card of the tarot deck and its patron saint of fresh starts. It links to technology, air travel, and Aquarians too, if any of that feels relevant! And, from a mood POV, The Fool is radical, unexpected, and progressive. This new beginning works for you, but others might raise an eyebrow (let them). You might not even know what it is. Don’t worry, it’ll all fall into place this week.

GEMINI: TEN OF CUPS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

If the astrology of the week is all about happy relationships, then the Ten of Cups is doubling down on that for you! Expect romantic bliss, fairytale love stories, and happy ever afters. If you’re attached then seek the next level for your relationship, deepen the commitment, intimacy, and shared respect. If you’re single, then you might find yourself falling in love! Look out for charismatic Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces). If you’re happily solo, then date yourself! Treasure and celebrate your independence, freedom, and opportunity. Create beautiful events, evenings, and weekend plans that match your energy and reward all of your hard work in the week!

CANCER: ACE OF CUPS

Something new is coming your way this week. Something is going to be birthed into your world, be it a relationship, idea, role, new romance, friendship, pet, pregnancy or collaboration. This is a new arrival that comes with love. This is exciting and passionate and uplifting. If you know what it is that you most want, then go out and get it, make it happen now, it’s the right time. If you’ve no idea what it could be, then remain open-minded this week, stay alert for instant attractions and interests, and follow them up. Don’t turn away from what catches your eye. Look closer.

LEO: NINE OF SWORDS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

Talk about it, Leo. Say how you feel. Truly express the emotions that churn up inside you when you think about this unspoken fear or dread. It’s all better out than in. Keeping your thoughts locked inside just makes them warp and become over-hyped. When you say things out loud, you release the pent-up power stored in them, and you can calmly pick through what remains. You can see what needs action and what just needs to be let go of because it’s not really real. The Nine of Swords asks you to find a confidant and speak your mind fully.

VIRGO: TWO OF CUPS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

You like working and being alone, doing your own thing to your own timescales and standards (fast and high!). But you also enjoy working in cahoots with someone like-minded and equally diligent and hardworking. The Two of Cups asks you to lean into the partnerships, duos, and twosomes that work best for you in your life—be that professionally, romantically, or socially. Focus on activities you do as a two. Know who works well with what activity, and match them up, like a game of "pairs." Two heads are better than one. Go further faster on all fronts by utilizing these positive relationships.

LIBRA: JUDGMENT

Hearst Owned

Judgment is a wonderful card about self awareness, deep insight, understanding, and clarity about who you really are and what you really want in life. Know those two things and everything else is easy! Every decision will circle back to that knowledge and, when known authentically, will be based on truth and genuine desire. Spend some time in solitude this week thinking about who you are, your true nature, your strengths and weaknesses, passions and dislikes. And then about what you feel excited, positive, and motivated for. Write it all down. Use it as a blueprint to build 2025’s designs upon.

SCORPIO: QUEEN OF PENTACLES

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

Take good, good care of yourself this week Scorpio. You’ve been working hard, burning the candle at both ends, and generally putting others or external demands ahead of your own. You feel tired and a little burnt out. So, the Queen of Pentacles comes in to protect and nurture you in practical, tangible ways. Good food and hydration, deep rest, regular sleep, stimulating and inspiring content, kind and loving friends, time to unwind and daydream, challenges that instill healthy, happy habits. You only get one body and mind, so take the utmost and best care of them! Focus on you this week.

SAGITTARIUS: NINE OF PENTACLES

Pick something in your life that feels broken or like it’s not performing or delivering to its potential. And decide to fix it. You are smart and lucky, you can breathe life back into almost anything! The Nine of Pentacles asks you to step back from the issue and look at it objectively and as part of a wider context or bigger picture. A change of lens or perspective can usually unlock a new solution. And also think longer term—this is not a quick fix but a sustained repair. It might not happen overnight, it might take time to do. And that’s okay.

CAPRICORN: SIX OF CUPS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider/Waite

Memory Lane has a VIP ticket waiting for you this week, Cap! Roll up and stroll down the nostalgia promenade and see who you bump into. The Six of Cups speaks of reunions and rekindled love bonds. Someone or something is due to return to your life, they were much missed, and things have changed now. What didn’t work before could well work now. Are you ready to try again? Second chances can pay back when they’re well placed. See where your affection still goes, even though the recipient is at a distance. Seek to repair, rekindle, and reunite.

AQUARIUS: QUEEN OF SWORDS

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

The Queen of Swords is your zodiac sign’s queen as she represents Air signs. As such, this queen is smart, objective, logical, a little ruthless, and able to detach emotionally and think things through with a cool head. And maybe this is what you need to do this week. Remove the emotion and look at events dispassionately. List the facts. Establish a timeline. Be a detective and build a case story. And, when you have, go over it all again, alone and with only your own counsel. You will see new insights and learnings. You will have a much better idea of how to handle it all.

PISCES: THE CHARIOT

the chariot tarot card
Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

The Chariot can point to literal vehicles, journeys, movement, and location change, so if any of that is relevant for you then make this THE week to get going. This is the right time to focus on movement and your means of doing so. In an abstract way, The Chariot is about purpose and intention. Setting a destination in mind and traveling towards it. How can you plot a path if you don’t know where you’re heading? We all need purpose, goals, ambition. We all need tangible milestones in place to guide our choices and lure us to better places.
