In Honor of Season 4: All the Couples From ‘The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On’ Who Are Still Together in 2026
This show has an incredible track record, tbh.
Like pretty much all of Netflix’s dating shows, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On puts a group of people in a pretty, um, odd scenario in an effort to find lifelong love. Five or six couples who are pretty sure they want to get married, but not entirely sure, test their relationships by deciding in eight weeks whether they want to get engaged to each other, start a relationship with someone from one of the other couples instead, or neither. This involves entering a “trial marriage” with one of the other people who they’ve just met, as well as having a “trial marriage” with each other. It’s the sort of thing that can make us viewers at home go, “Well, at least I’m not dealing with that.” (Which is really a required sentiment for all reality TV.)
But while it sounds like a pretty ridiculous process, it actually has worked out for many of the couples. Very well, in fact. After three seasons, a lot of the couples from The Ultimatum are still together today, and many of them are married. Ahead of the season 4 premiere on Wednesday, July 15, here is a look at all of the Ultimatum couples who are still together.
Season 1: Colby Kissinger and Madlyn Ballatori
A lot has happened for Colby and Madlyn since season 1 aired back in 2022. The couple got married on the finale of their season (not a requirement, btw, just a thing they did), and they announced that they were expecting a baby at the reunion. Now, the couple has three kids with another on the way! They just celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary earlier this year.
Season 1: Randall Griffin and Shanique Brown
Shanique and Randall ended The Ultimatum engaged and showed up to the reunion together, but there was a split in between. Today, though? They’re married. The pair just marked their first anniversary by getting matching tattoos of their initials and wedding date.
Season 1: Alexis Maloney and Hunter Parr
Alexis and Hunter were one of the couples in season 1 who ended up getting engaged before the trial marriages even happened. And it worked out well for them. Hunter and Alexis got married in 2022 soon after their season aired, and in January of this year, they welcomed twins.
Season 1: Nate Ruggles and Lauren Pounds
The other couple who got engaged before the whole experiment was over was Nate and Lauren—and they’re still together today, too. They got married in 2022 and welcomed a son in 2024.
Season 2: Antonio Mattei and Roxanne Kaiser
Moving on to season 2, all five of the couples who participated in this season were still together by the end—all but one ended the show engaged—and they’re all still together today. Antonio and Roxanne got married in 2024 and are now, as they put it, “just two married entrepreneurs rawdogging life together.”
Season 2: Lisa Horne and Brian Okoye
Lisa and Brian were the one season 2 couple who did not leave the show engaged, but that’s because they left the show early for a very important reason: Lisa found out she was pregnant! They welcomed their son in 2023 and got engaged in 2024.
Season 2: James Morris and Ryann McCracken
Ryann and James were high school sweethearts and The Ultimatum seems to have only made their relationship stronger. At the end of their season, they got engaged and they got married in 2023. They’re now parents to a daughter and have a baby boy on the way.
Season 2: Trey Brunson and Riah Nelson
Trey and Riah also got engaged during the finale, and you might not be surprised to hear that they are now married and parents, too. This show really works, I guess! Riah and Trey welcomed their daughter in 2024 and tied the knot the following year.
Season 2: Kat Shelton and Alex Chapman
Our final season 2 couple is Kat and Alex. After getting engaged on the show, they made things official with a wedding ceremony in 2024. They just welcomed a baby girl in June.
Season 3: Micah Hardeman and Chanel Watkins
While season 2 was a huge success, season 3…not so much. Out of six couples, two are still together. Let’s start with Chanel and Micah. The couple left the show midway through the season because they basically decided the experience wasn’t for them. What was for them is their relationship, though. Chanel and Micah got engaged in 2025.
Season 3: Vanessa Hattaway and Dave Adams
Like Chanel and Micah, Vanessa and Dave left The Ultimatum part of the way through the experiment. (There was a whole thing where all four of them secretly decided together.) The unconventional end to their reality TV journey seems to have been the right move: They got engaged in 2024.
