RIP Kang Dynasty and welcome to Doomsday. The original movie was supposed to circle around Kang, but after the Jonathan Majors scandal, Marvel has decided to go in a completely different direction. "New mask, same task," Robert Downey Jr. said when it was announced that he will be re-joining as Doctor Doom. Then there was the surprise reveal of Chris Evans and his grand return as Steve Rodgers in special teaser trailers that aired in December 2025. Of course, this leads us to question how this is possible?!

Well, the multiverse is vast and complex...there's so many endless possibilities here. But based off the giant cast list, it looks like it might be leaning more towards the Avengers vs. X-Men storyline.

Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal, and RDJ were confirmed to all be a part of the cast in a five hour long announcement, which also announced that it was officially in production.

Anthony and Joe Russo are also back to direct the two new Avengers movies, while Captain America trilogy and Avengers: Endgame writer Stephen McFeeley will write the script.

Marvel Comics fans will certainly remember the 2015 Secret Wars storyline that featured collapsing multiverses and our favorite heroes trying to save all of reality. Well, the series is coming to life as the end of the multiverse saga and phase 6, which means it will certainly be an epic end to this wild new journey.

The hero of Hell’s Kitchen is back once again. The end of the show’s second season left things in the air as Matt Murdock is arrested for what he’s done as the vigilante hero in NYC. Will he back in the streets again? Or will he have to fight the justice system in order to gain his freedom back?

He’s just Ken Johnny! Ryan Gosling is finally joining the MCU in a role that he’s been maniesting for quite a while now. In fact, Eva Mendes, his wife, acted in Ghost Rider films opposite Nicolas Cage. Now, it’s Gosling turn to light things up as he teams up with Shawn Levy, who he has worked with on The Fall Guy and the upcoming Star Wars: Starfighter, to bring the iconic spirit of vengeance to life.

In theaters 2028

A new Black Panther will take the throne. At San Diego Comic-Con 2026, it was revealed that David Jonsson will take on the mantle in a brand new film that will follow T'Challa II / Toussaint, who is now grown up and ready to follow his father’s legacy. Letitia Wright and Winston Duke will return to play their characters, Shuri and M’Baku.

The Emmy-nominated series is coming back for another fantastic season. Simon broke Slattery out of prison at the end of season 1. What that means for him and his future acting careers is still up in the air. But it will certainly give us another major performance from none Yahya Adul-Mateen II.

Rhodey is back and things are different for the military man, especially after losing his best friend. And yes, there will be plenty of new suits. Unfortunately, a lot of the details are still under wraps, so we’re going to have to wait to find out more. Originally pitched as a Disney+ series, it will now be a movie that will fall in phase 6 or 7.

Vampires in the MCU? It’s more likely than you think. Mahershala Ali is joining in as the iconic vampire hunter after first making a special voice-over cameo at the end of Eternals. But just how will he fit into the multiverse? And will Kit Harington make a big return as Dane Whitman? While our fingers have been crossed for some major news, it looks like we might have to wait longer to see it all happen.

According to Variety, the film, which was originally slated for November 25, 2025, has now officially been removed from the schedule. This comes no surprise as the script has yet to be finalized and the film lost its second director back in June 2024. So...it's anyone's guess if this film is even still happening.

The world has been waiting for Shang-Chi to make his big return to the MCU ever since the critically acclaimed movie burst into the scene in 2021. Official details are still being kept under wraps, but it looks like things might finally be moving along for the film as director Destin Daniel Cretton told Rolling Stone in July 2026, “I also would love to see Shang-Chi 2! I was talking to Dave Callaham, our writer, about it just a few weeks ago, so fingers crossed.”
