Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns are now husband and wife. The cutest couple in the NBA right now have upgraded their relationship from future spouses to ~life partners~ following a gorgeous wedding on August 15, and I can’t lie...their nuptials looked like an actual fairytale come to life.

Jordy and Karl started the classic friends-to-lovers trope and started dating—but they kept it pretty under wraps.
“Me and Jordyn met years ago knowing common people and just became friends. And ever since then, our relationship grew where we became more than friends,” Karl said in a 2021 episode on Jordyn’s Instagram series Regular-ish, per People. “I’m not saying in that way, but just best friends. And then we started having a deeper relationship.”
He continued, “It just so happened, the COVID came and kind of brought its challenges and it kind of forced us to either pick where our relationship was going to go as friends or something more. And we chose the latter.”

In an Instagram Story Q&A with fans, one user asked Karl, “How do you stay so strong after overcoming so much?” following the loss of his mother and family members to car accidents and COVID-19. His response? Jordyn and her unconditional support.
“My woman has held me down more than the world knows,” he responded. “From my mother and family members dying (1 on her bday in Cabo), getting hit by a drunk driver (was 2pm in the afternoon FYI) in LA this Off-Season and staying with me in the hospital for the night and helping me in rehab, to this stint with COVID she has been there with me every step of the way and stayed ten toes down.”
He sweetly added, “My love for her knows no bounds and I would be remiss if I don't acknowledge the power a good woman can have in your life. Men, treat your woman like a Queen so she can treat you like a King.”

Like any real Hollywood couple, Jordyn and Karl become the subject of cheating allegations, which they both shut down.
“So crazy how someone can make fake screenshots and send it to blogs and y’all believe it,” Jordyn tweeted. “My relationship is more than solid and I put that on everything.”
Karl addressed the drama and basically said that he has plans to marry her in the future, making all the gossip completely irrelevant. “A lot of goofies out here with photoshop skills,” he wrote. “So I got the baddest girl in the game and you think I’m gonna waste my energy with anyone else gtfoh! Same haters we got now are gonna be the same ones we have when I put that ring on her finger.”

The couple celebrated their one-year anniversary on the beaches of St. Lucia, and it was the epitome of a romantic getaway complete with lush tropical fauna, celebratory balloons, and...a Birkin bag. Naturally.

Jordyn celebrated Karl’s birthday in style and threw him an entire surprise birthday party. As if a custom basketball cake and a DJ weren’t enough, Jordyn gifted him a seriously swanky watch, too.

Jordyn and Karl aren’t only influential on the basketball court—their influence goes alllllll the way to the White House, too.
“For those of you wondering why we were at the White House, @karltowns my other half does countless things for social justice and has done a lot in his community especially where he plays basketball (Minnesota), where the George Floyd incident took place,” Jordyn captioned a carousel post of images from their presidential visit. “This is just the start of different initiatives we are working on behind the scenes to help make this world a better place for our peers and for our youth.”

“We’ve been through a lot together,” she told People during an exclusive interview. “We’ve seen each other at all different ways, times, phases, so I think we have a very strong foundation.” BRB, I have a tear in my eye.

New Yorkers everywhere rejoiced when Karl and the Knicks ended up winning the NBA championship series, and in no surprise to anyone, Karl gushes over Jordyn carrying her famous orange “Tux Clutch Mini” bag from her namesake brand to each one of the games.
“It’s one of the greatest clothing articles in the history of basketball!” Karl said of the lucky purse on Instagram. “I want everyone in New York to know that bag won a championship.” And the art world agreed—the bag was later placed on display at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City.

It’s official—Jordyn and Karl tied the knot on August 15, 2026! The pair has yet to share their wedding photos with the world yet, but from the inside look fans of the couple received online, it looked like the most gorgeous ceremony.
