Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding invitation just dropped, and now we know the not-so-subtle way they kept guests from leaking the details.
Ashish Ferguson, the brother of Travis’s friend Kumar Ferguson, posted (and has since deleted) a photo of the invite, which features a lovely landscape painting with a simple message for guests asking them to be in Manhattan on July 3. But most notably, Ashish’s name is watermarked all across the invite, meaning any leaks would easily be traced right back to him.
TMZ previously reported that guests were sent individually watermarked invites with their first and last name, and Us Weekly also noted that “The save the date was sent electronically, and guests had to agree to an NDA before they could see any details.”
As for the NDA, TMZ got intel that it didn’t include a “monetary penalty,” meaning, if the terms were violated, there wouldn’t actually be a tangible punishment—it more served as a reminder to the 1,000 guests to respect Travis and Taylor’s privacy.
Meanwhile, some guests got to skip the NDA altogether. “Their closest friends and family haven’t been asked to sign NDAs,” a source told Page Six. “Protecting their privacy is just something everyone in their inner circle has always naturally done. Nobody wants to be the reason details leak. The people in their inner circle have gone out of their way to protect them. Some even offered to sign NDAs simply to give Taylor and Travis extra peace of mind.”
