As the hearts of the nation collectively break over the news that Prince Harry is officially off the market after meeting 'The One' Meghan Markle - who he will be marrying in Windsor on Saturday, May 19 - we take a look at the our favourite redheaded royal's romantic history over the years. And all those rumours too...
Caroline Flack
In Caroline's 2015 autobiography, the Love Island presenter described herself as Prince Harry's "bit of rough" after the pair were introduced by mutual friends back in 2009.
But the TV star said she stopped seeing the royal before their relationship could develop as soon as the press caught whiff of what was going on.
Writing in her book Storm in a C Cup, Caroline revealed: "To meet a prince is so unlikely, it would be weird not to acknowledge it.
"However, once the story got out, that was it. We had to stop seeing each other. ‘I was no longer Caroline Flack, TV presenter, I was Caroline Flack, Prince Harry’s bit of rough."
Natalie Pinkham
Harry was said to have been "infatuated" with sports presenter Natalie after their paths crossed back in 2006 (via Hello!).
However, Natalie has always maintained the pair were just good friends, and she and Harry still see each other socially.
Ellie Goulding
It was rumoured that Ellie and Prince Harry had been spotted hugging and kissing at a polo match last year (tbf, they were probably just hugging like they are sweetly in the pic on the left).
The pop star - who performed at Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding in 2011 - was then asked if she was expecting a ROYAL baby by a brave Australian reporter on The Project.
Unimpressed, but seeing the funny side, Ellie replied: "Why did I have a feeling that was going to come up? You are naughty, naughty people."
Jenna Coleman
The actress immediately shut down Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway's cheeky implication that there was a romance between Jenna and Prince Harry after the pair were photographed at a polo match together last year.
When Kate asked whether Jenna was spending time with Harry for research for her ITV series Victoria - in which she plays the late Queen Victoria - the star replied bluntly: "No, he is a friend of mine."
Awkward.
Chelsy Davy
Prince Harry's longest relationship was with Zimbabwe-born solicitor Chelsy - the pair famously dated on and off from 2004 to 2011.
Although the couple always looked as though they were having the best time together, Chelsy recently admitted that she found it hard to cope during their seven year relationship because of all the press intrusion.
"It was so full-on: crazy and scary and uncomfortable," she told The Times last year. "I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn't cope… I was trying to be a normal kid, and it was horrible."
The pair remain on good terms however, as Chelsy added: "I think we will always be good friends."
Perhaps she may even get an invite to his wedding?
Cressida Bonas
There were rumblings that Prince Harry was going to pop the question to aspiring actress and dancer Cressida after the pair began dating when they were introduced by Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie in 2012.
However, the couple broke-up after two years in 2014, following claims Cressida didn't want to give up her ambition to act and perform, and struggled with media intrusion.
Lauren Pope
Just imagine a Prince Harry cameo in The Only is Essex! Back in 2011, former TOWIE star Lauren said she once turned down an invite for a night out from the royal.
Lauren had recalled meeting the Prince at former nightclub Chinawhite to the News of the World (via Digital Spy), saying: "I was dancing and accidentally elbowed him as he walked past. I was drunk and didn't recognise him, so I apologised and carried on dancing.
"Then a mutual friend came over and said I'd knocked his friend and did I want to sit on his table. I said, 'Who is it?' and was told, 'It's Prince Harry'.
"I was introduced to Harry and we sat there chatting for hours. He was really normal. At one point he was dancing to hip-hop and I thought it was strange that he was into that.
"Everyone asks me what we chatted about but it was just general chit-chat. It wasn't pervy or anything, just what I was wearing, what my job was, that kind of thing."
Lauren then claims Harry called her up to see if she wanted to hit the infamous club again, but she hilariously recounted: "I was on a sunbed in my lounge when he called.
"He asked if I wanted to meet him with a group of his friends at a bar.
"He was going soon and I don't think I had time to get ready and I didn't want to meet Prince Harry looking like crap. I panicked and decided not to take him up on his offer."
She probably feels a bit silly about that in hindsight...
Florence Brudenell-Bruce
Model Florence Brudenell-Bruce reportedly dated Prince Harry briefly in 2011, after he had split from long-term girlfriend Chelsy.
Florence - who is a descendent of the Earl of Cardigan, and is cousins with former Voice winner Bo Bruce - was reportedly uncomfortable with all the press attention she received over Harry.
They split a few months after getting together and Florence reunited with her ex-boyfriend multi-millionaire Henry St George, who she married in 2013.
Mollie King
The Strictly star was linked to Prince Harry back in 2012, after the pair were pictured dancing the night away at a Battersea nightclub.
But Mollie later tweeted: "Guys, I’m getting a lot of tweets about Prince Harry but... I’m not dating him and we’re not in a relationship. We’re just friends."
Meghan Markle
After officially announcing their engagement last year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will marry in Windsor on Saturday, May 19.
The 33-year-old "thrilled" royal revealed he proposed to the Suits actress as they cooked a roast chicken on a Sunday night at their royal residence Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace.
The couple will marry at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Camilla Thurlow
Love Island runner-up Camilla reportedly dated Prince Harry in 2014, after the pair were spotted holidaying together on a yacht in St Tropez.
But the star said she's relieved her relationship with the royal didn't go any further, as she's found love with her Love Island co-star Jamie Jewitt.
"I didn’t want my past relationships in the spotlight to upset having a future with someone," she told the Independent. "I am very happy with Jamie right now.
"It is nice that something that has happened in the past is in the past. I’ve had an opportunity to show people the person I am."
